10th Degree Kenpo Black Belt Frank Trejo has been recognized by many as Kenpo Karate's most successful competitor. With a professional kickboxing record of 21-1, he is also the only competitor to place first in both kata and fighting in the same year at Ed Parker's International Karate Championships. Mr. Trejo worked closely with Ed Parker as manager of his Pasadena karate school, and he is known the world over for his unique fighting style, which combines boxing, kickboxing, karate, judo, and ground-fighting in a concept he likes to call 'Kenpo Fusion'. In this interesting seminar, we discussed the history of Kenpo, how the techniques came into being and lastly, how to incorporate our techniques into effective sparring.
